In the MAIN GALLERY
Back from showings last year at the Special Collections Galleries at UGA and at the Classic Center Gallery in a show curated by Didi Dunphy, view selections of extra-large images from Jason Thrasher’s Murmur Trestle series.

In the UPPER GALLERY
Back from June showings at the Echo Contemporary Art Gallery in Atlanta and OCAF (Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation) in Watkinsville, be sure to see several paintings and ceramic sculptures on view from last year’s show, The Uncanny Valley— plus three new ceramic sculptures by Heaven4theYoung aka Frances Thrasher.

We are located in Suite 1500 of the historic Leathers Building at 675 Pulaski Street in downtown Athens, Georgia. The gallery is inside the Thrasher Photo + Design studio, next to Revolution Yoga, and just a few doors down from ATHICA. Our gallery entrance is on the either side of the building about two thirds of the way back, up the wide, single set of stairs.

The mission of the ACE / FRANCISCO Gallery, in Athens, Georgia, is to present exhibitions of the work of Southern artists and to hold special arts, music, and literary events in its 1500 sq. ft. gallery space. The gallery is self-supporting through the sale of limited edition prints and through event sponsorships. If you would like to sponsor an exhibition or special event, please get in touch.

ACE / FRANCISCO Gallery welcomes diversity of all types and celebrates that diversity through the content of its programming. Our facility is ADA-compliant and we offer personalized accommodation services for exhibition and event experiences by/through advance arrangement; simply fill out our Request for Information Form, above, and specify the event you would like to attend and the time of your arrival during event hours, and we will gladly assist you. The Leathers Building is outfitted with a wheelchair ramp (on the non-train-tracks side of the building) between the entrances to Suites 700 and 900, at the mailboxes, with a clear path from the ramp to our suite; our Suite,1500, does not have a doorbell, but let us know when you are coming and we will open the door for you. Our all-gender restroom is also ADA Compliant.

If you would like to visit on non-event days, we will do our best to accommodate you, keeping in mind that we are a not-for-profit gallery with very limited hours, and we are volunteer-run, so visiting times on non-event days are dependent on volunteer availability. We are normally open on most Third Thursdays from 6PM to 8PM from August to May— but check our instagram for the latest news— just to be sure!
