John Cleaveland / The Nature of Remembrance

Fine Art Prints, signed by the artist, John Cleaveland, reproduced and printed by master photographer Jason Thrasher with archival inks on museum quality, acid-free paper (9”x18” printed image, with white border to 17”x22” for framing.) This is a rare (and first) opportunity to purchase a museum quality print by John Cleaveland. The original painting has traveled with The View From Here, which originated at the Morris Museum of Fine Art, followed by its run at OX Fine Art and ACE / FRANCISCO Gallery in Athens. The original artwork on which this print is based is priced at $82,000 at 5’ x 10’ and is available for purchase.

John L. Cleaveland, Jr., earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Georgia and held a graduate assistantship in the UGA Studies Abroad Program in Cortona, Italy. His work has been widely exhibited and collected. He says that his “paintings are specific expressions of places I’ve been to that I love, that I’m connected to, or that I’m pushed to some expression by. . . . I’m looking for a feeling—something that might tell a greater truth but in a very simple way.” He lives and works in Farmington, Georgia, where he creates epic views of the landscape.
