Vernon J. Thornsberry is a fine artist who lives and works in Athens, Georgia. Thornsberry is originally from New Orleans, where he was mentored for many years by George Dureau, an artist who is said to have inspired the work of Robert Mapplethorpe. Vernon’s work is in the permanent collections of the The Ogden Museum of Southern Art and The Historic New Orleans Collection. Thornsberry recently played himself in the feature film Ragged Heart.

Price includes one print (choose the number you would like from pull-down menu) plus tax and shipping within the Continental United States, carefully packaged in sturdy mailing tube with the artwork protected in acid-free velum. All print sales are final.

Sales of Fine Art Editions help the ACE / FRANCISCO Gallery in its mission to host solo shows for fine artists, provide part time jobs for student artists and recent graduates in the gallery, and to support student arts organizations in the south.
